Essentials of Family Therapy
Professionals working with children and families require a range of psychological models of care and intervention to understand how they and their clients respond to life’s challenges. This course draws on ideas and skills from the fields of family therapy and systemic practice that professionals will find helpful to add to their toolkit.
It aims to specifically promote child focused and culturally sensitive practice and to reinforce the notion that respectful and collaborative practice promotes opportunities for information gathering, intervention and change.
