Excellence in Practice
This course will provide the practitioner with comprehensive knowledge and confident skills in undertaking the role of child and family case manager/social worker.It will provide for a full understanding of the wide and specific issues, including policy, legislation and practice, that are most relevant in modern social work. Participants will be given opportunities for rehearsal and practice in key areas and will be provided with a detailed practice handbook for future reference.
This course is full and comprehensive in its provision of knowledge. It is also energising and motivational. Children and families with whom we work will contribute to this training and both the challenges inherent in practice and the need for the continued pursuit of excellence in family work will be implicit and explicitly referred to throughout the course.
